Lee,

Friday was pretty interesting. Did you happen to notice little spontaneous bursts of buying / covering in certain stocks? At one point in the morning, ITWO was +7 and ARBA was +3 while everything else was red. It may be early, but I'm trying to identify those stocks with nice intraday relative strength.

Thanks for your assessment on ARBA, no doubt a tough road back. People are even starting to distinguish among the B2B players such as ARBA and CMRC (Friday ARBA was -2 13/16 while CMRC was -18 9/16). The key difference here is that companies may choose to bypass the middlemen such as CMRC but still need the E-commerce software guts provided by ARBA.

I wonder how much shorting was going on Friday pm with the anticipation of a Monday crash thinking 1987 all over again. But what if everyone already sold on Friday ANTICIPATING there would be a crash on Monday? EMLX was down 50% on Friday. Maybe everyone that had to get out already did on Friday.

I did an informal survey this weekend. Yes, people have cash; some who missed the bull the past several years are putting some money to work this week. Fresh money coming in, taxes paid, short fuel..... rally?
