The Consumer Electronics Show kicks off in earnest next week, with Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang giving the keynote address on Monday. And while investors will be parsing Huang's every word, several other semiconductor companies are likely to make news as well.

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) is scheduled to appear and is likely to show off new products geared towards the PC space, artificial intelligence and automotive, according to the company's website. AI has become a focal point for AMD, as the company upped its 2024 guidance in October and said it would generate $5B in revenue from its AI accelerators, up from a previous view of $4.5B.

Not to be outdone is Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), which competes with both AMD and Nvidia. The semiconductor giant, which forced out former CEO Pat Gelsinger last month, is likely to show off its own AI updates at the Las Vegas-held trade show, according to the company's website. The company is also likely to show off new innovations for multiple industries, including PCs and automotive, as the industry moves towards software-defined connected electric vehicles powered by AI.

Other industry stalwarts such as Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM) and Broadcom ( AVGO) are also expected to appear. Qualcomm is likely to show off updates in existing areas, such as the PC and automotive, as evidenced by past appearances. Broadcom may also show off AI-related updates, especially in the networking and custom integrated circuit markets, where the company has benefited financially.

Other semiconductor companies that are scheduled to appear at CES include Mobileye ( MBLY), Marvell Technology ( MRVL), Texas Instruments ( TXN) and Analog Devices ( ADI).
