The biggest hoax of all was that there was a so-called stand down order given. That lie spread on Fox like wildfire, even as it was debunked by testimony under oath, officers in the military and multiple independent and bipartisan investigations

Oops...except the guys actually on the ground who survived that night indicate they were in fact told to stand down....repeatedly.....

As for Gowdy's "admission"....we have the luxury of hindsight to know that we could not ave reached those who were murdered and no attempt was even made to assist them...we did not know that on the night the action unfolded...moreover, the real scandal is the multiple pleas for additional security which were ignored, the failure to position assets to assist if there was trouble...and the lying and spinning to the American people and the public which followed the debacle....

Its as clear a shocking dereliction of duty as one could imagine....
