Key word ..." when" the rally starts. I think you may be right ... eventually ... about MER, and the large banks and other brokerages should also do very well. I personally think there is still downside for the brokers, including MER, and the large banks. As you mentioned CNBC, I am sure you heard that Latin America could pose an even bigger problem than Russia. I have a feeling that MER and the banks will head further down tomorrow ... maybe have a small rally next week, depending on conditions abroad (and down south) and then head lower. By the way ... since I have TRV and BAC ... I really hope I am wrong. If MER moves up, so do my holdings.
