Yes, John Galt affirms that one must accept on 'faith' the apriori fundamental - that is if the individual has not yet established what
John Galt already knows.

It shall soon be established and accepted as common knowledge that all 'life forms' do display an inherent 'mathematical intelligence'. If one chooses not to accept this premise, then he chooses to reject reality and his own mind. In the end, we will discover that it is this choice that makes man truly unique in the 'life kingdom'.

As for Tom Aquinas - Aquinas was a true philosopher at heart and a theist for practical matters. It was Aquinas who saved christiandom
from certain death in the face of an emerging realism in his time.
It was one hell of a sacrifice to make in order to get into the hall
of christian fame. John Galt regards this man as a coward and a trader (to reason).

Listen, Sir Quinnelly, to the cacaphony of bullshit among the creationists on the God thread. Even today, when christianity is
threatened by science, you can be certain Tom Aquinas will come to
their rescue!

In reality, the question of god is meaningless. If one knows history,
then one knows the concept as nothing more than a tool for social and political control.
