Watch List May 13, 1998: marketgems.com. I'm still bullish on the 'earnings plays' watch list. The retail sector which I based a good deal of my 'earnings plays' on for this week have been doing well. I expect they will continue to perform well. Some of the weaker stocks like AMCN and CLE never came into "BUY" territory and that is the uniqueness of these plays. NMGC is another one that so far hasn't shown the price/volume breakout indicative of a genuine earnings play. I'll still watch NMGC tomorrow though.
