Tony, All those whose ox has been gored share your views. Does the register creat false news? or do they air rumors? Many rumors they have posted have proven to be true and they usually qualify what they say to allow the reader to make his own interpretation. For example, the recent error with the SSI has been confirmed by none other than Intel, a BIOS workaround is on it's way. There are reasons people do not like their secret stuff out. I bet Nixon would have liked all that taped stuff to have never seen the light of day. Same with the register. You read it....decide if it wrong, right or unknown and go on. Show me a few errors they have made and perhaps I will shift my position. As for errata? Where can you find that AMD errata list? At least Intel publishes it for the world to see, apparently(Elmer) AMD does not. Is there an industry site where such errata can be found that is not subject to AMD/Intel spin control? Bill
