Malkin uses rightwing bloggers as "sources". This is not journalism, it's smear-mongering, simply liars repeating lies by other liars then claiming there is something factual about any of it. Malkin's "source" for saying Kerry was "snubbed" was some rightwing blogger who's never even been to Iraq. I am sure that all the troops Kerry met with in Iraq were thrilled to meet him as the photo suggests. Do you see a frown on any of their faces?

In truth, and I have spoken to several top soldiers about this, the military generally respects Kerry and listens to him, but they are also usually pro-war and conservative in general, particularly the volunteeer military, because they need to be, but Bush-Cheney's humongus lies and failures are now clearly apparent to almost all of them. So a big sea-change has taken place. However there will always be some far rightwing haters of anything democratic, and others who are stupid enough to believe the BS of Limbaugh, Hannity, Malkin and Bush-Cheney.

Remember it was the Army Times that called for Rumsfeld to go right before the election. This proves the mainstream military leadership is no longer with Bush-Cheney, and may in fact be more on the side of fellow combat vets Kerry, Murtha and others who really care about our fighting men and women, as they have proven over the decades. Bush-cheney are the ones who dissed the troops by sending them to Iraq without a plan to begin with.
