VOD in the context of TV means "Video On Demand" -
billions of digital set top boxes (read the article I referenced about SFA's box and online guide).

GI's box = gi.com

These are powerful pc-like devices (300mips processor, etc)
running downloaded applets which have the capability of going far beyond the scope of GMST's patent view in personalizing the tv experience by learning your preferences and schedule (and sensing who is in the room and what their physiological states are).

I AM IGNORANT of GMST's patents but I am skeptical
that they are going to collect a piece of flesh from
the vendors supplying billions of digital set top boxes which are going to be installed in the next decade -
for something as simple as providing a directory service
for computer files. Point the remote mouse device, moving the cursor on screen to the selected item and click, and sit back while the selected video file streams to your digital settop box computer. What does this everyday
computer experience have to do with GMST?

Maybe GMST's patents only cover dumb remotes and dumb
analog settop boxes -- the world of the past.

Before slamming me as short seller spreading FUD,
I do own 400 profitable shares of GMST based
on sentiment and momentum reasons. Convince me
that GMST offers future value.
