I'm with CW. I get in a snit about that swearing on a Bible thing. I thought they dropped that, and just had you hold up your hand and swear to tell the truth. Which, personally, would really put the fear of God in me.

I'm not saying the Bible isn't a sacred book, or even "the word of God", or a "law-book", or whatever; but even believing these things, it doesn't belong there. The courts should know that.

And it is not the exclusive source of ethics in human behavior.

It's like saying a person can't have a conscience without the Bible.
Which means, essentially, you are testifying to be a Christian. Or unfit to proceed in a law court. It does violate the Constitution, absolutely and clearly. For many reasons. It's embarrassing.

Hiss away, mom. (Hi-fives Cw...)
