China hasn't exactly been friendly toward us so I don't mind arming their possible enemies at all. China is trying to turn the South China Sea into their own territory and we should support every country that wants to avoid that, just like we do and every trading partner that needs passage through that important trading area. Are you saying we should just give China a free hand to completely control their part of the world whether it's against international law or not? The appeasement crowd tried to do that with the Germans in the late 1930's and it didn't work out well then and I don't think it would work out well with the Chinese today.
