From the 06/30/2000 10K: The tests performed demonstrated that the ozone (or "oxygen plus") levels produced by the Kronos(TM) device tested were within NIOSH (a U.S. government regulatory agency) standards even directly at the outlet. Further, contrary to popular wisdom, these tests demonstrated that the tested device produced from two to ten times as much cubic feet per minute ("cfm") per watt of electricity the most efficient conventional fans available for comparison. Wind tunnels tests showed the Kronos(TM) device to be very effective at removing particulate materials, including dust and pathogens, from the air stream. Significantly, when tested on a particularly difficult bacterial agent, the Bg bacteria which the U.S. military uses as a simulant for anthrax, a 95% of such agent was killed or removed on the first pass of the air stream through the Kronos(TM) device.

09/05/2001 Press Release:
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- TSET, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TSET) announced better than expected results of extensive independent laboratory testing of its Kronos(TM) technology. The Kronos(TM) products tested were virtually silent, 5 to 9 pound standalone products that demonstrate significant air movement and air purification benefits. Tests conducted on Kronos(TM) products at MicroTest Laboratories in Agawam, MA and at the New Hampshire Materials Laboratory, in Somersworth, NH demonstrated HEPA Clean Room Class 1000 quality particulate reduction and up to 95% reduction of hazardous gases. MicroTest Laboratories demonstrated the capability of the Kronos(TM) technology to perform HEPA quality particulate reduction. By eliminating over 99.8% of the smallest 0.3-micron sized particles, the Kronos(TM) product tested can be classified as an ISO Class 6 (Federal 209E HEPA Clean Room Class 1000) particulate filter. The Kronos(TM) product captured 99.87% - 100% of particulates larger than 0.3 microns, as documented by MicroTest Laboratories. "Achieving such a high level of particulate reduction allows Kronos(TM) to deliver a superior air movement and purification product, which reduces common allergens such as dust and pollen, as well as the particles found in second hand cigarette smoke," said Alex Chriss, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales of Kronos Air Technologies, Inc. New Hampshire Materials Laboratory demonstrated the gas destruction capability of the Kronos(TM) technology. Tests were performed on six of the more harmful carcinogens known to be in second hand cigarette smoke, including Benzene, Ammonia, Styrene, Formaldehyde, Toluene, and Acrolein. These chemicals are considered to be high priority "Toxic Substances" by the Environmental Protection Agency. Documented results showed that after only a single pass through the Kronos(TM) product, 45% - 95% of these toxic substances were eliminated. "By showing a significant reduction in the harmful components of second hand cigarette smoke, we can now make the claims that our product can deliver what customers in the hospitality industry are seeking but have yet to find with any other product in the market today. In addition, the specific reduction of airborne ammonia is a direct response to our healthcare and nursing home partners' requests for a solution to problematic odors, including urine and chemical cleaners," said Mr. Chriss. "In keeping with our mission to provide clean air solutions to the residential, commercial, healthcare and hospitality markets, Kronos Air Technologies now has the independent evidence to make sweeping product claims about the Kronos(TM) technology," said Dan Dwight, Chief Executive Officer of Kronos Air Technologies, Inc. "Kronos Air will enter the Indoor Air Quality marketplace with the only product that can make claims for both HEPA particulate reduction and hazardous gas purification while being virtually silent and up to 85% smaller than those of our competitors."
