I was skeptical myself until it was explained to me in some amount of detail (that I still don't totally understand, because as you rightfully point out, I am no CPU architect :-/). What I am having more of a problem with is the flying off the handle before all the details come in. Maybe I'd be more forgiving about errors in complex situations like the above, if he wasn't in the same post proclaiming crap like "The truth comes in! Willy really a 1000/ 500 hybrid that's not even air cooled!" Puh-leeeeze. Just watch the damn presentation and you know what's going on with both of these items. It's pretty obvious something is up his craw on the whole thing. Maybe he really does think Willy is a POS. That's fine. We need the benchmarks to come out anyway IMO before too many conclusions about Willy performance are proclaimed. I certainly should be tolerant of skepticism in lieu of benchmarks. If at times I don't seem like I'm being very tolerant, chalk it up to my bias and blow me off, because until the benchmarks come out, I don't have a leg to stand on. Nice job on dousing the flames with some level criticism Goutama. PB
