This is the same "analyst" who last February said Southern Pacific Resources (STP.V), an oilsands junior, would be in the $6-12 range by now (Fall 2007). It's trading at the moment at $1.48, exactly where it was when he made his recommendation.

He's made a number of other "bluesky" predictions which have failed to materialize so far, in various base metal, precious metal, uranium and oilsands stocks. Personally I think he's out of his league in evaluating an ethanol stock.

NOTE: Ironically, STP is now probably a reasonable speculation at its current price given that oil is at $100 a barrel (double what it was when this guy wrote his article in February). STP recently did a large PP at $2.15.
