What do you people make of this smallpox mania? Hard to answer without being privy to the same reports that the government officials are using. If they have reports that Saddam has stocks of weaponized smallpox, then it makes sense to prepare quantities of the vaccine and vaccinate the first providers. As for any other virus he might use, there may not be much we can do to prepare for it.
