to copy:

start your cursor [the lil blinking line] at the beginning of what you want copied - left click on your mouse without letting go and pull the hight-lighted area over everything you are going to copy

let go [it will remain high=lighted] and right click your mouse and a window will pop up with cut - copy - paste - choose copy

then move your cursor to where you want the copy to begin and right click your mouse again - choose paste and voila!

you have copied and pasted

of course if you really knew how to copy and paste and were just being lazy, I will personally come over and super glue your fingers together [and really, that isn't a bad option]
