The software will be probably be most useful if you have the need to build custom calculations, build custom screens, and export custom data fields.

The most value it adds for me is the ability to export data to Excel for a large group of fields and companies. Some calcs just aren't practical in a database software. My process has largely become screening first and exporting companies with desirable characteristics (without regard for valuation), and then using excel to do all my future value projections. Most screens I've seen attempt to do both at the same time, but seperating the process has advantages for the more quantitative way I work.

I think it's a great value for the average investor. If you get the software and have any questions let me know.
