Sam, I don't see any banner ad on this thread. Perhaps you are viewing SI through a frame? Or maybe SI detects AOL users like yourself and only displays banner ads on your page because you are already used to them (on AOL)... :-)

I would LOVE to have this thread survive through a merger with AOL. All these anti-AOL messages and sentiment are likely to rub off onto AOL members. Let see, Trojan Horse? No, more like driving a stake through AOL's heart.
