Funny you say it, our gardener during our 10 years in San Diego did indeed speak quite well English besides his Spanish mother tongue from Mexico. Hard working guys, but some of them I had to address in my best Spanish, which ain't as good as my 4 mother tongues Swedish, Danish, English and German. Even my Italian and Japanese are better than my rather lousy Spanish, and so is my French after 3 years of it in school :) That said, only the most primitive Norte Americanos can be impressed by language skills and way too often mix them up with being a clear sign of elevated IQs. Actually has nothing to do with that. So feel good, even with zero command of a foreign language, not impossible your IQ could be bigger than your number in shoes! Me bragging? Never! /Taro
