Of course we have a big problem..Govn't filling in the holes the private sector can't in the near term. Kicking the can down the road with this yield curve is working for the banks with only a couple more years left to absorb the losses.. As to fundamentals I would be thinking about how this protracted great recession will change American society, it's spending patterns and business formations in profound ways for the next decade or longer
