the 2 for 1 announce date was wayyyy back on 3-2 with a "record date" of 6-2. The shareholders meeting is set for 5-28, they will all vote to support the 2 for 1 and pick the "pay date". I think it was poor timing on ATHM's part to announce with no pay date in sight. The same thing EMC did and I think the stock loses some of the "buzz" when this happens. It's better when companies like RealNetworks announce a 2 for 1 on 4-20 and the split date is 3 weeks later on 5-10.
ATHM long ... just wish the exec's did a better job of marketing the stock.
