I am not familiar with Doug Collins as I am from the east, I would hope Jerry Collins does not hold the same views, racism is VERY ugly & usually the racists themselves do not see it as racism.

Not to start preaching right now but I do recall a trip to Mississipi, Biloxi in fact, where I was at a bar in a hotel. There was a bus boy who loaded up some ice into a cooler at the bar & he was black. I overheard comments from the locals & a few of the other employees after he was gone ranging from "that "BOY" is a good hard worker" to "you won't find a harder working "N"". As I overheard the comments I also realized that they appeared to have a sense of pride in their offering him such compliments.

I am sure they would not have seen themselves as racists.
