Me, sarcastic? I'm shocked, SHOCKED you would say such a thing! Round up the usual suspects.

I assume Intel has shipped hundreds of thousands of >700mhz cumines, if not 800's. Really, my only reading is that out of Intel's production capacity of 30m a quarter, allegedly ramping to 5-6 million a week, or whatever, hundreds of thousands in Y2K seems closer to promising engineering samples than volume production.
