Longnshort, this is exactly why Obama cannot be trusted to fight against Islamic extremism.

His administration goes out of its way to deny that Islamic extremism exists. Because these pollyannas think it only exists when it is called out. Stop calling it out, and it'll go away, according to their "logic."

I don't think even Hillary would do something as boneheaded as that. But given her time as Secretary of State under Obama, I can't be certain.
