CNBC and Citigroup commentary ... CNBC had the CEO of CitiGroup on yesterday (6:30-6:40pm CST). Interiewed at the CEO Summit in Williamsburg VA. All of North America's 'heavy hitters' were there. GE, Boeing, etc. Weill (sp?) had some encouraging things to say around e-commerce in general and how it is and will continue to be even more important to their business. (The largest bank in the world with 100,000,000 consumer customers and 1700 commercial customers world wide). cnbc.com In this week's issure of Informationweek you can read all about the 'future' of Citigroup and the growing importance of the internet to their business model. Goal: 1billion customers!! How?: The internet. informationweek.com Net: Valu net will do well to prove to CitiBank Canada that they can really add value to their business model. I like Valu net even more. Believe it to be an excellent investment.
