Why would anyone give a rat's tail about Globalstar. This company has failed miserably to document any coherent business plan or technology pathway. Yes, Gilder promises that thereis potential for G* in telematics. Given his connections to key players in the industry, he may very well prove to be right. However, I am far more interested in the immediate market potential for UMTS services in Japan, the US, and Europe - not to mention WLL in India and CDMAONE in China. G* is the last reason to get excited about CDMA.
