Jim...thanks for not ganging up on me.

I myself don't mind paying a reasonable amount of taxes. My Father was a WWII vet and he was able to move firmly into the middle class because of the GI Bill and other things that helped him that weren't available in earlier years.

The Vets that came back from WWI didn't have much in the way of benefits or any help at all. Some of them camped out around the whitehouse to try and get a bonus they thought had been promised them. They didn't fare too well.

I think of the way the Vets from WWI were treated as TRUE capitalism and the way the Vets from WWII were treated as American Capitalism.

So, I don't mind so much paying my taxes.
