What I try to do in "in the service of partisanship" is present a view from the CENTER.

I'm afraid of EVERY President until I see what he's really going to do and how well he can work through the legislative process.

Hoover was one of the more intelligent men to hold the office but he didn't have a clue how to handle the economic bust.

Johnson was probably the best "legislative" President of the 20th Century, but he got us stuck in Viet Nam.

Personally, I think that Obama became a community organizer with the sole intent to get himself established with the Chicago political community so that he could use it as a platform to run for office. I don't think that's a BAD thing. Guys or Gals that want to go into politics are always going to look for the most advantageous entry vehicles.
