As I read Sophie's comments I believe the two 250kg samples being examined will determine the standard for comparison of future samples from other drill holes and the larger bulk sample likely to be taken in the spring. The results from this CFA (caustic fusion analysis) will establish the total grade for the Snap Lake kimberlite (both macro and micro diamonds) as a model from which we can compare all other samples in future. It will tell us that if samples are consistent to this sample, then they will be similar throughout the dyke/cone/fisher/pipe/whatever and that the source will be valuable. Who is a geologist among us that can confirm this or set the record straight? Have we any with clear thoughts on what is being done here?
