Hi Mike, I noticed there didn't seem to be anyone in any of those pictures that was alive before Ford was president. Was that pretty much the case in the ones you visited too?

I can see why: very "school-like"....pretty "bare bones" presentation, with hard chairs, no partitions, hard surfaces everywhere. Musta been noisy...clicks echoing everywhere. The ergonomics police would be going crazy writing citations. The "cubicle crowd" would be about as likely to chose to sit in one of those places as they would be to ride a moped to work.

So I guess it's beyond me too, what the attraction is. The internet surely wouldn't have blossomed into what it is today if that was the way we all had to access the internet. It's all very trendy right now I suppose. I can't imagine not having an internet connection that was just a few steps away, or worse yet having to wait outside in line. I think I'd probably choose wireless internet access via hand-held device with a 4 inch screen over these places if those were the only 2 choices. Luckily, I don't have to make either of those sacrifices. Hell, you can buy a pretty powerful machine from Dell for 20 bucks a month, 45 payments, including the ISP for the first year. You could probably spend that much going to these places once a week.
