You may very well be right! But you know what, thats how it is, and thats what the game is all about! LSI may not be worth $27, but currently it is at $27 and who knows maybe next week it will be at $40!
Since nobody knows what the future holds, we have to consider likelihoods. Simple logic coupled with experience should suggest that it is far more likely for LSI to get back to the low 20's now than to climb to the 40's.
At this time there are people out there that think LSI is at least $27/shr and are willing to pay cash for it hoping someone else will buy the shares from them for $40 or more!
For the sake of those who are buying now, let's hope that the "greater fools" do show up and buy it from them at 40 (or more, of course! ;-) )
If tomorrow LSI drops to $20/shr I can almost guarantee that you will most likely not buy either and compalin that LSI is not worth $20 either
If you bought it earlier at $20 and sold it at $27, you have a $4 "cushion", after paying $3 in taxes. So it is I that can afford to go down a full 4 points from 20, not you! Yes, sir! -- if it goes down to 20 and I feel like buying it then, I will buy it!
