"Do you not think it's wrong for kids to bully each other? Do you think it is somehow ridiculous to do this?"
Well of course I do,(think it's wrong), silly. The question is, given your worldview, why do you? As we have already seen, many on this thread see no essential difference between a dog and a child. If I were a philosophical materialist who truly believed in evolution,(namely that survival of the fittest) as the primary and positive mechanism whereby all species either survive or perish, and if I truly believed that morality is individually determined and not subject to some higher, universal moral order, and if I truly believed that there is no God to whom I am ultimately responsible and I thought I could get away with it, then yes, perhaps it would seem ridiculous. Especially if it were my kid who was the strong one.
Fortunately, I don't believe any of that. There is a God who has created us in His own Image. He has both told us, (bible, creation, conscience ), and shown us,(Jesus' life and death) that He loves and cares for us. His very nature is Just, loving, and Holy, and is the standard by which we are to treat one another. Therefore it is wrong to bully another human being, even though it might give me an advantage. I think you know these things in your heart, but your philosophy won't allow you to admit it.
