Follow-up on my post about "some settings are managed by your organization". I was puzzled because Windows would not let me turn on Windows Update Delivery Optimization.

goldworldnet pointed me at a solution using gpedit.msc, which I don't have access to on my Windows 10 Home platform.

PMS Witch advised me to search for solutions that altered Registry values. I tried a few of these things without success, but did learn that the problem was likely caused by a bug or bugs in Windows privacy settings. Recalling that soon after I upgraded to Windows 10 I had downloaded and used a privacy helper app that localized all of Windows' myriad privacy settings into one interface, I decided to try one of these to help.

I don't recall what program I downloaded a year ago, but today I found and downloaded O&O Shutup 10. It has allowed me to enable Windows Update Delivery Optimization on my system.
