All, I'll send an email to Alan Engbring (IR) and see if he knows anything. I would suspect end of the year tax selling with not a lot of buyers around to pick up the slack. The Vical Web Site still has the Merck HIV vaccine Phase I trial as the top listed 'anticipated event'. Hopefully, this is soon, and will be followed by a good news year - 1999. I agree with Scott, and being an 'old timer' as far as holding a long position, I have seen Vical notch milestone after milestone over the past 4 years with very little 'bad' news. It is quite perplexing that its 'future earning potential' is worth so little today after all the progress. Well, out to the truck for another bag of patients... Have a Happy New Year... Bill
