Every behavior is a choice. We choose to do things and not to do things constantly.
Every choice has a consequence, which may include a probability of occurring.

Some consequences are well known.

Some are fairly subtle or indirect (Karma might be an example. Pooping where you sleep is another, for some people).

We are talking about a well known consequence.
