kholt, Perhaps I put my content in the wrong place, but I was referring to the possibility of a regime of socialism in America. That would also include a radical liberal administration, as well. As long as we have the form of government, as polluted as it has become, there is no fear of losing personal rights to any extent.

The NRA doesn't need the paltry sum I would be able to donate, and even the way I feel about gun ownership, I have some issues with that organization. I see no reason for any civilian citizen to own a fully automatic assault weapon. Semi-auto is enough for me, and they already have a grip, so I don't need to get another. :^)
