Because it is a PM. Unless both parties agree, it is a TOS violation to make them public. Thems the rules. I didn't make them. But I have agreed to follow them if I want to post here. If I violate those terms, I can be suspended, blocked or have my account deleted. SI paid for and runs the site. They get to make the rules.
