Skipper excuse me for butting in here, but USR has been shipping 56K modems since Aug. 96 these same modems have been selling in the stores since then. The only hold back is the downloading of the software upgrade, which may have been reconfigured in order to throttle down the hardware to 53K. You can be assured USR is on schedule.
