The discussion about "militia" and definition of it, lead me to a wonderful couple of hours googling the definitions to be had, as well as re-enactors of the Rev War, going to Concord and Lexington via the net, finding some of my ancestors who were part of the April 1775 Alarm from Concord to Lexington Militia, and various jaunts inbetween. Even now know where a particular little village in Yorkshire England is, and what is there today...Probably not too much more than was there when the first recognized ancestor was there...
