Shawn asked me whether he should post that "Bubble" piece, as he wondered if was sufficiently on topic.

In fact it is on-topic, as it speaks to relative valuations, a theme which is near-and-dear to this thread.

But in general, I thought it was worthwhile setting out some ground rules of the thread for those that may have joined us more recently:

General valuation topics are welcome, even if they are not biotech-specific.

Posts on individual companies are welcome, with the important caveat that repeated posts about the same company are generally unwelcome unless they are part of a dialogue with others.

Technical analysis is generally not welcome (unless it happens to be amusing). <g>

Posts on penny biotechs have a much higher hurdle than posts on real companies.

In general the thread is self-policing concerning people who are trying to pump a stock. What generally happens is that the pumper irritates a biofreak enough to make them go and dig up some dirt on the company and post it.

It's fine to ask peoples' opinion of a stock or trial or the like. But realize that sometimes you just won't get any response.

Pointers to and/or summaries of conferences and conference calls are always welcome.

People are welcome to make an occasional completely off-topic post as long as its interesting and/or amusing.

Peter
