No question many medicines originated from biological sources. Life is an exercise in organic (carbon-based) chemistry and the largest source of organic chemicals is life.

But any pretense that "natural" = "good" is absurd. Try a little strychnine or botulin toxin (entirely natural chemicals) if you doubt it. Your "only benefited" will end abruptly.

Look up the fatality rate resulting from prescribed medications.
Look up the mortality rates for cholera or heart attacks without them.
