califjk- If you compare the intraday chart to the timing of the MSDW upgrade and QCOM's clarification of Dr. J's remarks and reiteration of guidance, you will see a close correlation to these events and the rebound. I think Friday is better explained by the market's initial misunderstanding of Dr. J's comments, and clarification later in the day. The QCOM/3g story is remarkable for many reasons, including the fact that it is almost uniquely susceptible to misunderstanding by investors who have only casual knowledge of the subject matter, and to misrepresentation by those with an agenda.
