Dennis,

For the issue of converting bonds into stock, I personally think the
percentage of bonds to be converted to stock (when stock price reaches
a certain price) will be trivial. The reason is those who bought
bonds are conservative with cannot-lose attitudes. Those who depend
on bonds interest to meet their daily need won't convert since they
can not afford to lose the stable income generated from bonds and they
probably don't have stomachs to weather the storms from stock.

If I were in retirement ages and I invested in bonds, I wouldn't
convert it to stock since the bonds will hold the stable incomes
for me.

Phil
