To All, The Wall St. Urinal had its six month stock picking contest. One of our favorites, Joe Battipaglia, undistinguished himself. He was down 8.8%. The dartboard was down 3.8%. Readers were down 1.7%. The Dow was down 5.2%.

So, why do folks listen to the guy? He actually finished second out of four, and the two below him were really awful.

Now we know why Wall Street always talks about relative rather than absolute performance. <g>
