The degree to which is is man made or just the changing long term cycles is not really the issue anymore but those on the extremes of either side want it to be. It is more clear by the day that we have a serious problem.. Just look at the tornadoes in Iowa increasing in number, intensity, duration and coverage.. Half of an entire town was flattened.. In the past you would have had just a long very narrow stretch of disaster in hurricane alley.. Water temps in the gulf of Mexico are so much warmer than 15-20 years ago making the collision of hot tropical and cold arctic air even more pronounced..

How bad the political BS gets is when I was driving through a small Florida town late last summer when one of those long forgotten monster CAT 5's hit a remote fishing village in Mexico instead of turning towards Houston or Corpus Christi as had been feared only a day or two earlier and some dude on the radio between songs commented that all the 'phoney' hype and hysteria was part of lefties at CNN and the Weather Channel attempting to get ratings up, put unneccesary fear in Americans and push Gore's global warming hoax..
