Attorney General not willing to say speeding is against the law:
When the House Judiciary Committee asked Attorney General Loretta Lynch for answers to simple questions regarding the law, the Harvard Law graduate left them utterly astounded by dodging at every instance.
Lynch continuously refused to offer satisfactory answers to members of Congress inquiring into the decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for breaking the law by using a private e-mail system for public business, sharing classified information, and lying under oath. Lynch's statement to the committee revealed her general apathy:
"While I understand that this investigation has generated significant public interest, as attorney general, it would be inappropriate for me to comment further on the underlying facts of the investigation or the legal basis for the team’s recommendation."
As each congressman pressed for answers to their specific -- and very simple -- questions, Lynch referred them to outside sources, namely FBI Director James Comey's statements on the agencies decision to clear Hillary Clinton.
Even when asked if going 10 miles per hour above the speed limit is breaking the law, Lynch was unable to answer. Georgia Rep. Doug Collins was so frustrated with Lynch's non-answers that he just wanted to hear a "yes" or "no" out of her mouth. So, he posed the question, "The speed limit says, "55," I'm doing 65. Have I broke the law?"
Lynch responded, "You'd have to ask the highway patrol. They would likely write you a ticket."
Collins was incensed, saying that he went to a small law school where the law was actually taught. "Harvard," he added, "I'm not sure anymore."
Their entire exchange has to be seen to be believed, including when Collins said he missed former AG Eric Holder because at least he gave answers even if they didn't like them:
