Karen, what's worse is when a soldier dies in battle. Many soldiers are young, they have young families, and their life insurance is a pathetic 250K. Until a few months ago it was 200K. Try having your husband die in your twenties with three kids to support and live off 250K? Constrast that with the amount of money victims of 9/11 demanded the federal government pay?
