Israel and its people aren't going anywhere. But where are the Palestinians going to go? Many left Israel as the result of the same ethnic cleansing tactics that the Serbians tried in Kosovo and Bosnia, including genocide and systematic, calculated rapes (if you want to get into references, these have been documented). Many have been in squalid refugee camps for generations because the Israelis have all the power and the US refuses to apply the diplomatic pressure needed to have any sort of negotiated solution to allow them to have a viable state. There have been moderate Palestinians, but they have fallen by the wayside because they have achieved nothing and it seems some like to go out with a bang rather than a whimper. Things can take baby steps towards peace or go to hell in a handbasket very quickly.

Canada now has many people who have the potential to become terrorists, which as you know I think was very unwise and short-sighted to have been allowed. More than ever, we need to show the world and our immigrants as well that Canadians are humane and reasonable people, such that any acts of terrorism against us will be vilified by the whole world, not excused in any slightest fashion by anyone due to us being foolish enough to support injustices elsewhere or become involved in them.
