First of all, the extraction of amniotic fluid from a gravid uterus is not without risk. The uterus has to be pierced with a needle which is inserted into the amniotic fluid.

Tho rare, it can cause a miscarriage.

Many embryos are discarded all the time and I think they are autoclaved ( steam sterilized under pressure) or incinerated.
Those cells would be perfect and not cause any risk at all.
