Right on the money... Israel's extra-judicial assassinations do have a flipside: reprisals by targeted Palestinians. It's really upsetting to watch Western media depicting the whole Middle East snafu as Israel being attacked by outrageous terrorists FIRST, then --while the whole "civilized world" anxiously holds its breath-- preparing a DUE RESPONSE to "punish" the Palestinians, and, finally, a hypocritical call urging Yasser Arafat to crack down on Hamas, Jihad, Hizbollah, etc. Let's face the facts: about 220 Israeli fatalities vs 750 Palestinian ones so far... and next, let's turn the whole chain of events the other way around: Israel's assassination of Abu Mustafa and other leaders entailed the Palestinians to retaliate against Israel's state terrorism. Likewise, if Israel strikes back at the Palestinians in retaliation for last weekend's attacks, the Palestinians will have no choice but to go on with counter-terrorist reprisals against the Israeli oppressor, and on, and on. BTW, do you remember Sharon's election slogan? "Only Sharon can bring peace." And what's been the effectiveness of Israel's elimination of 60+ alleged terrorist masterminds, so far? Weren't the killings of Abu Mustafa and others meant to thwart Palestinian counter-terrorism?? Perhaps only a complete genocide of the Palestinian people could bring peace to the Judeofascists?
I think the US has reached a crossroads: either America sides with Judeofascism (EU/Russia/Israel) or earnestly helps conciliate the Muslim/Arab world with the Judeofascist alliance....
